STEM Changemakers is leading the empowerment of underrepresented girls in Far North Queensland through authentic, sustained, place-based experiences. Changing regional Queensland's STEM workforce capability and potential through connecting regional communities and growing collaboration, by transforming girls’ aspirations and their family supporters’ perspectives.

FNQ STEM Changemakers Engagement Day
Exploring the dynamic FNQ STEM industries and professions. The girls and their influencers (family and teachers), hear the direct impact that these professionals and industries make in the community. The girls then work with these experts to explore an authentic community problem. The girls learn networking skills and apply these across the day. They also have site visits to expand their experiences of what STEM industries are in their locality.
